Traditional medicine has been able to survive colonization and modernization because of its resiliency and adaptive capacity. But how is traditional medicine perceived within Indigenous and ethnic communities? Engaging with traditional medicine practitioners, knowledge keepers, and community members, I explored their understanding of traditional medicine, and its future in the wider healthcare system.
